Samsung Battery Settings

Please perform the following settings otherwise the app WILL NOT RECORD your trips:

• From Settings -> Device maintenance -> Battery.
  • Set Power saving mode  to OFF.
  • Open Unmonitored apps and tap Add Apps or Edit to append the app to this list.
  • Remove the app from the Always sleeping apps list, if it exists.
  • Navigate to Advanced settings (the icon located at the top of the screen in the Βattery menu) -> App power monitor -> Put unused apps to sleep. – Based on this setting, apps that are not used frequently will be put to sleep. To prevent this, try opening the app frequently.
  • Tap on Battery usage, tap on the three dot menu at the top right side of the screen and navigate to Optimize battery usage  -> Apps not optimized.
    •  Select All apps from the drop down menu.
    •  Locate the app and disable the switch.

Do you have a third-party battery optimizer?

If you are not sure what this is you can ignore this section.

Make sure to whitelist the app for any third-party battery and memory optimizers like Memory Booster. Apps like this are designed to force terminate all background activity to extend battery life and this will prevent trip recording from working.
